Eastern C.N.A.S.F. Stud Service Auction Guidelines


Please read the entire page before filling out the stud nomination form

  1. The Eastern C.N.A.S.F. Stud Auction nominations will take place from February 22, 2011 to March 31, 2011 at 6:00PM.
  2. NEW for 2011: Early nominated herdsires will get more visibility! Nominated herdsires will be available for on-line viewing as of March 15, 2011 and added as nominations are received (allow a few days for processing).
  3. ALL nominated herdsires will be available for on-line viewing from April 15, 2011 to April 28, 2011.
  4. The Auction will go live on-line from April 28, 2011 at 7:00PM EST to May 1, 2011.
  5. The Auction will close in groups beginning at 7:00pm EST. The second group will close at 7:15pm EST, the third at 7:30pm EST, etc.
  6. A minimum bid of $1000 will be accepted on all herdsires.
  7. Once the $1,000 bid is achieved, that male becomes a “Subscribed Sire.”
  8. All offspring of subscribed sires born between the calendar dates of October 28, 2008 and April 28, 2011 are eligible to be entered in the Futurity for 2011. On-line entry forms will be available when registration commences on September 1, 2011.

All herdsires to be entered online between February 22, 2011 and March 31, 2011 by using the following Stud Nomination Form.


Form Instructions:

  1. Fill out the entire form
  2. Save a copy of the form to your computer's hard drive or some other device
  3. If you have an email program on your computer such as Outlook or Outlook Express then select the "Submit Form" button on the top right corner of the form. Enter your name and email address and send the form.
    If you are using an online mail program such as hotmail, aol, yahoo then you will need to send a copy of your saved form as an attachment. Close the form, launch your email in the regular way, compose an email to auction@cnalpacaeast.com, attach the saved PDF file and send.
  4. The picture of your stud can be sent with the form or as a separate email to auction@cnalpacaeast.com.
  5. If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt of the form within 48 hours please contact Dawn Campbell at dawn@twoloomalpacas.ca

There are three (3) ways to subscribe a herdsire:

  1. Self-Subscribe (exclusive): You can participate in the Futurity without having to provide an outside breeding or share genetics with anyone else. Simply choose to self-subscribe* your herdsire "exclusively" for $1,500.
  2. On-Line Stud Auction: Once your herdsire has achieved the minimum bid of $1,000 in the On-Line Auction, he will be subscribed.
  3. Unbid on Herdsire: If your herdsire is not bid on you may self-subscribe* him yourself after bidding closes for the $1,000 minimum price.
